Join us on the KEEP-AH
Our trusty dive charter boat, the “KEEP-AH” is conveniently located just steps from our dive shop. She is a 31-foot JC Chesapeake built in NH. Originally used for both the commercial lobster & tuna fishing industries of New England, this vessel continues the tradition by regularly bringing divers to the best scallop and lobster diving spots in Boston Harbor and beyond (as well as to wrecks and other great dive sites).
Cruising speed is about 12 knots. Most dive sites are about an hour boat ride away. The boat is equipped with a GPS chart plotter, radar, depth finder, and marine 2 VHF radios. It also has custom made dive benches, a transom door, a head, and a large dive ladder for re-boarding.
KEEP-AH is fully outfitted with all the US Coast Guard required safety items, including emergency oxygen and first-aid kits, and is staffed by well-trained professionals whose top priority is your safety.
SCUBA Diving Charters
Boston Harbor offers some great SCUBA diving sites for all ability levels. Explore island coastlines, underwater ledges, and sunken shipwrecks. Our charters are small – only 3 divers are needed to run a trip, and we maximize the number of divers on the boat at 6. If you are the first to book on a charter, you get to choose the dive site! The small nature of our SCUBA diving charters allows us to customize your trip to enhance your experience with us. No matter what level of experience you have, there is a dive site for you in Boston Harbor.
We encourage you to bring your own lunch (there is a cooler on board to keep items cold). There is also a place to keep your personal items dry in the v-berth of the boat. Hang out at the dock after the dives, listen to some music, and enjoy a few after-dive cocktails (BYOB!) A freshwater rinse station is located on the dock so you can get the salt out before you bring your gear home.
Divers must supply all SCUBA gear for charters. Rental gear is available from our Dive Shop.
Day Charters: Summer – Morning charters run from 8am to 1pm. Afternoon charters run from 2pm to 7pm. Please be at the dive shop 30 minutes before your charter departs.
Please check the Calendar page for bookings & availability. Charters will be offered Thursday through Sunday during the summer months, and on the weekends during the winter months. A 3 diver minimum is needed to run the boat. Charters with less than 3 divers scheduled for the day will be re-booked.

Reservation Policy: A credit card number is needed to book your reservations. Your card will not be charged until the day of the charter arrives. On the day of the charter you have the option of either paying by cash, check, or having your credit card charged. No cancellations are allowed after you have booked space on a charter. Reservations can not be changed, altered or cancelled. You will be charged the full charter rate if you cancel, or don’t show up on the day of the charter.
Severe Weather Policy: Cancellations due to weather issues will be made by the captain at the dock on the day of the charter.
